AN OPEN FIELD GUIDE TO CELESTIA
See the network.

01 / INFRASTRUCTURE FOOTPRINT
A network with a world behind it.
Choose a location with context.
Coverage belongs in the denominator.

LOCAL AI / SOURCES INCLUDED
Ask better questions.
Keep the receipts.
Ask about Celestia architecture, Fibre, integrations, history or operator requirements.
Local embedding AI retrieves reviewed notes. It does not generate unsupported answers or browse arbitrary URLs. Relevance is not a confidence score.
02 / NODE LAUNCH WORKBENCH
A thoughtful start.
A smaller operational surprise.
01 — Choose the job
02 — Your dedicated resources
Linux x86_64, systemd, Python 3.10+. Use a fresh dedicated host. The kit refuses existing managed state, occupied default ports, or insufficient baseline resources. No disk formatting.
03 — Add diversity thoughtfully
A less-represented endpoint country can broaden the observed footprint. Check latency, routing, provider independence, legal requirements and recovery access. Zero observed endpoints does not mean zero nodes.
04 — Review & prepare
Choose a role, review resources, then download.
Pilot release: generated plans are tested; fresh-host installation and full sync have not yet been validated end to end. The browser never asks for SSH passwords. Run the downloaded Python kit yourself on a fresh server. It verifies official release checksums, creates an isolated service and starts syncing. An automatic daily check stages newer matching binaries; activation remains explicit. Archival consensus requires historical sync and compatible historical software; it is a configuration kit, not instant full history.
03 / MEASUREMENT & MODELLING
Know the number.
Know how it was made.
ESTIMATE / EXPLICIT INPUTS
Node & fleet resource model
Example assumptions, not measured chain-wide usage. For light nodes use their measured store growth; for Fibre use local shard ingress; for consensus, pruning and database behavior need calibration.
CALCULATED / NOT A NETWORK CENSUS
Your planning envelope
What cannot be inferred
Actual storage held by all nodes, total peer-to-peer traffic, electrical power and carbon emissions require participating-node telemetry and a known census. Chain voting power is not watts. Repeated data transfers cannot be inferred from block size alone.
04 / CONNECTIONS WITH CONTEXT
The modular ecosystem.
Beyond a wall of logos.
Directory listings, protocol integrations and historical announcements are different relationships. Listing here is not a partnership endorsement or proof of current usage.
05 / A PROTOCOL IN MOTION
From an idea
to abundant blockspace.
06 / UNDERSTAND BEFORE YOU OPERATE
Your modular field guide.
THE MEASUREMENT CONTRACT
Every claim has a boundary.
Source-reported network state
Active identities and voting power come from chain RPC snapshots. This application does not independently cryptographically verify commits. Each network keeps its own timestamp and denominator.
Endpoint geography
Registered Fibre hostnames resolve to public addresses only. DB-IP country estimates are approximate. Ambiguous results stay unknown. Fibre endpoint location is not validator signing-server location.
IP Geolocation by DB-IP ↗Honest bridge coverage
Two explicitly inventoried bridge endpoints, one on Mainnet and one on Mocha, are included in this release. Identity and sync were checked on 28 October 2026 UTC. This map does not discover or classify every DA peer.
Local AI, inspectable retrieval
Model2Vec potion-base-8M maps questions and research notes into 256-dimensional vectors. Cosine similarity and lexical overlap rank citations. The system returns reviewed text rather than generating new facts.
Model card & MIT license ↗Provenance & dates
Research notes retain source links, relationship types and review dates. Announcement dates are not activation dates. No synthetic performance history, guaranteed decentralization score or partnership claim.
Privacy & control
Saved evidence lives in this browser. Questions go only to this service’s local model. No wallet, transaction, SSH credential collection or analytics tracker. Server access metadata may exist in infrastructure logs.
Atlas is a curated, evolving view of Celestia. Unknowns are intentional. It does not claim exhaustive ecosystem coverage, official endorsement, or proof of eligibility for delegation.
